David studied music and technology in Melbourne and has worked in audio production for over 20 years. His experience ranges from radio feature mixing and audiobook directing to commercial voiceover and music composition. David founded Wardour Studios in 2012.
Taryn worked in higher education for ten years before going freelance. When she’s not getting her hands dirty in gardens she’ll be found running the employee of the month scheme at Wardour Studios. Taryn joined the team in 2016 and helps the studio spaces and office run smoothly.
Tom studied music production at dBs Music Bristol, has worked at Real World Studios, and worked with Stewart Lee, Sian Evans, and many more. He particularly likes devouring books and as much music he possibly can. He has been known to meddle with spreadsheets.
Carla has worked in children’s audio for over twenty years, ten of which as a BBC producer across a variety of children’s programmes. She set up Small Small Audio ltd and worked with prominent clients such as Penguin Random House. Carla is co-founder of Small Wardour.
Kim Normanton has been telling traditional stories in schools and museums around the UK for twenty years. Kim uses rhymes and singing and has a world repertoire from African fables to Indian fairy tales. To learn more about Kim go to kimnormanton.com
Charlie is an experienced freelance audio engineer working in radio, podcasting and film. She is also an artist and illustrator specialising in printmaking and drawing. Charlie divides her time between London and her print studio in Bristol.
